The KAA would like to thank the city of Kenosha for allowing the use of the Southport Beach House for Community activities that are beginning to take place at the Beach house to bring awareness to this gem of Kenosha’s Lakefront.
In support of that effort, Brian Pier, a plein air artist and one of our newer KAA members, will begin hosting workshops at the Beach house on Plein Air Art painting.
Plein Air art describes the act of painting outdoor, and was used by many famous Impressionist painters, such as Monet, Pissarro, and Renoir, to name a few. Brian’s fees for this workshops are usually $200; however, he is reducing his fees to $50 for each 3-hour promotional Plein Art painting class.

(Workshops are Thursdays, 1-4 pm at the Southport Beach House, 7825 First Avenue at Southport Park
