Watercolor Painting with Barbara Farrell
This class will teach you watercolor techniques & much more.

Felted 2D landscape with Jill Montgomery– Using dyed wool and felting needles you will create a small colorful landscape Learn how to blend colors with the assorted colorful balls of roving. This will be a mini piece (4×6) that can be framed with or without glass.

Alcohol inks on a Glass Block With Jill Montgomery Using Alcohol Inks create an abstract design on a glass block.

Tatakizome (hammering plants) Flower Printing with Jill Montgomery
Design small prints using hammers and real flowers. Details are added with pens or colored pencils. You should be able to make two or three prints that are ready to be framed. Supplies will be furnished, Please bring flowers form your yard to share with class.

Drawing Workshop with Jill Montgomery
“Up Close” Use colored pencils to create a drawing of something found in nature. Learn how to blend colors and use cropping in your work. Time for practicing techniques will be given before creating a small, finished piece.
Please bring a #2 pencil and good eraser. (kneaded or vinyl), colored pencil supplied.

Garden Stepping Stone with Pat Koesser
Bring some of your own items and use the found items we have like, glass, tiles, marbles etc. Place them into the form and have unique step stone.

Mosaic tray with Jill Montgomery Create a small mosaic tray using broken /cut glass and ceramic pieces. You will create your design and glue it down during the first class. The last class is for the grouting of the tray. If you have any flat pieces of opaque glass or broken plates etc. that you want to include you can bring them to the first class. Supplies are included or you can bring your own small wooden tray.

Pastel Drawing with Jill Montgomery
Pastel landscape Experience using good quality pastels to paint a small, beautiful summer landscape. Learn something new about this medium and see if you like it. Supplies are included.

Create your own art class. Gather a group of 6 or more adults, contact us the get a list of classes we offer and set up a class for you and your friends.
Please have a few dates in mind that you and your friends can attend so it will be easier to schedule a date for the class.

The KAA reserves the right to cancel a class and will provide a full refund. We will call you if the class is canceled by us before the first class. Classes need to meet the minimum enrollment to run so we strongly urge you to pre-register with payment. Most KAA classes are geared for adults: however, they are open to high school juniors and older.
